Heat pump installation
Heat Pump Installation in Ontario
Air-source and ground-source heat pumps that heat your home in winter and cool it in summer, up to 400% efficient. Lower your gas bill and claim up to $15,000 in HRSP rebates.

Why it matters
One system for year-round comfort
A heat pump doesn't burn fuel to make heat. It moves heat that already exists. In winter it pulls warmth from outdoor air (or the ground) into your home; in summer it reverses to work like a high-efficiency air conditioner. Because it moves heat rather than creating it, a heat pump can deliver up to four units of heat for every unit of electricity it uses.
Modern cold-climate models are designed for Ontario winters and keep working well below freezing. For homes that want extra peace of mind on the coldest nights, we can design a hybrid system that keeps your existing furnace as backup.

FAQ
Heat Pumps questions, answered
Can heat pumps really heat my home in -20°C winters?
Yes. Cold-climate air-source heat pumps are designed to keep heating at those temperatures. Output drops as it gets colder, so we size systems for your home's heat loss and can add a backup source for extreme cold.
I'm an Enbridge gas customer. Why switch?
A heat pump can sharply reduce the gas you burn for heating, adds efficient air conditioning, and qualifies for large rebates. Going fully electric can also let you drop your gas account's fixed monthly charges.
Do I need to remove my existing furnace?
Not necessarily. A hybrid setup keeps your furnace as backup for the coldest days while the heat pump does most of the work.
How much will my electricity bill increase?
Your electricity use goes up while your gas bill falls further. Most households come out ahead, and pairing with solar can offset the extra electricity. Our calculator shows the net effect.
What maintenance does a heat pump need?
Keep filters clean, keep the outdoor unit clear of snow and debris, and book an annual service check.
