Do I need solar to get a battery?
No. A battery can work on its own for backup and time-of-use savings, but pairing it with solar gives you the most value.
How long will a battery power my home?
It depends on battery capacity and what you run. Backing up essential circuits can last many hours, and with solar the battery can recharge during the day.
Is a battery better than a generator?
Batteries are silent, need no fuel, switch over automatically and need almost no maintenance. Generators can run longer in multi-day outages if fuel is available.
What maintenance does a battery need?
Very little. The system monitors itself, and you can check its status in the manufacturer's app.
